We are pleased to present our inaugural Symposium Podcast: What is Love?
With Plato’s Symposium in mind, we’ve assembled a team of illustrious philosophers to discuss love or eros. In keeping with ancient Greek tradition, we followed the practice in which a group of people would gather together in the evening and enjoy wine, food, and conversation. Invited guests would take turns giving short speeches in answer to the question at hand.
Part one of this Symposium is the individual readings which last about 5 to 10 minutes each. This was followed by a spirited and alcohol influenced open conversation which lasted into the wee hours and will be released as part two.
